Dr. Robert Henrickson
Dr. Robert Henrickson is a single practitioner. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Cornell University in 1983. He has practiced in Brooklyn, New Jersey, and on Long Island. He has also worked at the Bronx Zoo where he gained more experience in exotic animal medicine. In 1986, Dr. Henrickson bought and renovated the 1923 building on Plandome Road where his practice is located. Dr. Henrickson is a member of the AVMA, LIVMS, and HUG. He is married to Cynthia Hutton and has two daughters, Anna and Berit.
Pocahantas:
Poca for short, has been the "house cat" to our animal hospital for over 12 years. While living here, Poca has accompanied Doctor Henrickson to many elementary schools teaching children about animals. One of the friendliest cats we know, Poca always appreciates the love and affection our clients show her.
Victoria Klement: Office Manager/Veterinary Technician
Victoria Klement has been with our hospital since 2000. Having many years experience Victoria can always manage our toughest patients. One of our most versatile employees she can handle phone calls, clients, and appointments without ever getting flustered. Victoria is able to answer almost all client questions. Recently engaged, Victoria has recently decided to return to school to finish her undergraduate studies and one day soon apply to veterinary school.
Grace Halloran: Receptionist
Upon arriving at our hospital you will always be greeted with a smile by our receptionist Grace. Having only been involved in the animal field for the past several years, we are proud to say that Grace has truly been a benefit to our hospital.
Patrick Connolly: Veterinary Technician
Starting as a kennel volunteer in high school, Patrick soon became a full-time employee assisting the doctor in all aspects of the hospital. Patrick recently graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Animal Bioscience and was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Ali Pivoda: Veterinary Technician
Ali has been an employee at our hospital for the past seven years. Always finding time to work during her school breaks from Cornell University, she has shown time and again her ability to work with animals. Ali has been accepted to the Unversity of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine and we wish her all the best.
Eve Kepke: Kennel/Tech
Eve has been with our hospital for the past year. As soon as the day starts you can find her with leash in hand outside walking dogs. When she isn't at the hospital you can find her helping her parents run their pet store, Pet Friends.
Daniel Klement: Kennel/Tech
Daniel started working for us over a year ago and is in charge of keeping all our kennel animals happy. Daniel escalated to vet tech assistant very quickly. A hard worker, he always makes sure our animals are comfortable and have appropriate accomodations.
Christine Klement: Kennel/Tech
Although she graduated with a degree in art her love for animals has been lifelong. Always eager to lend a helping hand, Christine has taken on her hospital responsibilities in full stride.
Michael Frefield- Kennel/Tech-In-Training
After realizing his desire to become a veterinaian Michael decided to start gaining as much experience as possible. Working at the animal hospital for the past two years we hope he has learned a lot about the profession. This September Michael starts his freshman year at the University of Massachusettes.
